Boost.FM started in August 2008 as a small project for a few friends and DJ's to be able to freely express their love of music and the dj lifestyle. In the two years Boost.FM has been opperating it has grown considerably from what was a handfull of djs and a few listeners into a thriving internet radio station showcasing some very talented DJs from around the globe. With over 50 active djs at any one time, and live shows daily to suit all timezones Boost.FM is becoming the internet radio station to tune in to. Over the course of the last two years we have had events around the globe with regular appearences of our resident djs at clubs in Australia and the USA. Our site continunes to not only serve our listeners and djs but also to evolve with the needs of them as times change, introducing new concepts and methods to broadcast with traditional tools it really has become something else entirely. Using Shoutcast as our primary broadcasting service we have developed a unique system that allows complete programming and a backup system in place to play djs shows in the unlikely event they can't make thier booking. This system ensures our valued listeners are gaurenteed to hear what they tune in for week in week out.

Not only does Boost.FM broadcast on the internet with just audio, we decided to take it to the next level and encourage all our djs to also broadcast video as well. They have taken the challange of not only broadcasting their live audio feed but, to also broadcast a live streaming video feed. These live audio visual streams really show how talented some of our djs really are, and some prime examples of this are these two shows. "The Shuffle Lab" which airs every wednedsay night in the USA hosted by JCaprice & 4Peace who engage the listeners on a near one to one level with news, events and the latest from Juice Music Studios. Bringing it home on Friday nights is DVJ Luna's "Club Luna" show where using 4 webcams and a suite of mixing hardware he produces a exciting audio visual show that is world class.

With weekly shows, and a consistantly high level quality of mixes in almost every genre of Electronic Dance Music, which we broadcast to over 20,000 listeners each month means we are doing something right.
