New Server New Toys!

So the famous boost.fm chat is being retired VERY shortly... perhaps in the next few hours even to make way for a new chat!

We now have our own IRC server! irc.boost.fm:6667 & irc.boost.fm:80 (yes I thought of you poor work people who can't access anything but port 80 so I had my resident guru Wishie work his magic and enable port 80 access to IRC).


The chatroom will still be funky, and there will be a web based chat app you can use to connect to the server or for windows users I recommend something like http://www.mirc.com/ as a client.



Finally the new server will have a spanky other new feature... Shoutcast on port 80 ;) which will also solve the restrictions of office places and other locations who block port 8000.
